How To Use The Mix To Make Pancakes

  1. Combine: In a medium-sized bowl , combine ¾ cup of milk, 1 egg, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add 1 cup of homemade pancake mix and stir until just combined. Don’t overmix the wet and dry ingredients. If you have lumps, they will give you the lightest, fluffiest texture!
  2. Cook: Drop ¼ cup of the pancake mixture onto a heated, buttered skillet on medium heat, wait for those bubbles to form on top to ensure you don’t end up with gooey middles. Then, cook until golden brown on both sides and enjoy!

Storing Homemade Pancake Mix

  • At Room Temperature: This homemade mix stays fresh just as long as a store-bought version—about 6 to 8 months. Keep it in a cool, dark place, and make sure your jar or container is tightly sealed to lock in freshness!
